Equipment and Furniture

The Catholic University will provide intentional and detailed event management of your conference, including the rental, delivery, and set-up of any needed equipment. Equipment should be requested at least ten business days (two weeks) prior to your conference or event for our staff to best meet your expectations. All equipment is subject to availability.

Tables and chairs are included in the quoted prices of all auditoriums, foyers, and Pryzbyla Center rooms. Additional charges may be assessed for changes to areas which have a standard set, for example conference rooms, lounges, classrooms, or public space.

Rental fees for any furniture or equipment rented from an outside vendor will be passed on to the client. The Catholic University reserves the right to approve all furniture and equipment brought into facilities. Furniture may not be removed from any of the facilities.

Equipment costs are subject to 6% DC Tax.

Parking

On campus parking is available at a nominal fee for the service. Discounted rates will be applied based on group size. For group parking, please contact Office of Events and Conferences Services at cua-conferences@cua.edu.

Lodging

Lodging is available during the summer residential season, which is after spring commencement to the beginning of August. For rates, please contact Office of Events and Conferences Services at cua-conferences@cua.edu.

Catering and Dining Options

The University's Dining Services offers premier catering services and multiple dining options. Our Student Restaurant offers all-you-care-to-eat buffet and can accommodate special dietary needs. Catholic University Catering Services provides services from coffee breaks to formal sit-down dinner. The team is also specialized in creating customized menus.

Technology

Basic audio visual technology (e.g. screen, projector and microphone) are included in the room rental fees. 

Raymond A. DuFour Athletic Center

The Raymond A. DuFour Athletic Center contains a gymnasium, pool and outdoor exercise equipment. Conferences must request use of these facilities well in advance of arrival to ensure availability. 

Catholic University Bookstore

The Catholic University Bookstore offers lots of University imprinted items. Opening hours may vary, particularly during the summer months. The bookstore is located conveniently within walking distance of the campus on 625 Monroe Street NE.

The Pryz Market

The Pryz Market convenience store is located on the first floor of the Pryzbyla Center. The Pryz Market store offers coffee, drinks, snacks, small grocery selections, fresh fruits and personal items. Opening hours may vary, particularly during the summer months.
